Aretha Franklin – RIP

Aretha Louise Franklin, singer, pianist and songwriter, born 25 March 1942; died 16 August 2018.  She was a super-star who will be sorely missed. In an article in the New York Times Wesley Morris wrote: We’re never going to have an artist with a career as long, absurdly bountiful, nourishing and constantly surprising as hers.
