BOOK BLURB –  Leaving town, heading to the Greek Isles without telling husband or friends, is heady medicine for a failing marriage. Seduced by Grecian sun and sky, Jenna innocently buys a bewitching urn that tangles her into the web of a criminal world more sinister than she ever imagined. Romance is always afoot in the Greek Isles and Jenna gets a large helping with the seductive Nikos. Family is important in Greece, and Nikos helps Jenna learn all the richness it brings, and pass it on to the next generation.

COMMENTS –  While I found Jenna to be an intriguing character and I wondered what was going to happen to her on her trip to Greece, I had to put the book down just before the holidays, and was not able to finish in time to do a full review. Since I had already agreed to help the author promote her book, I decided to do the preview. Unfortunately, that is becoming more common here on the blog, and I do apologize to those who look forward to a review.

It is interesting to see on Amazon the varied responses from other readers who did finish the book. Most of the readers have enjoyed the book, although a couple of people questioned some things that happen in the story.

I found the writing to be engaging, but one does have to accept Jenna’s decision to take this holiday to Greece when maybe we want to say, “Wait. Is this really the answer to the marriage problems.”

But, of course, if she does not go to Greece, she doesn’t get caught up in the mystery and intrigue, which readers are finding well worth the read. So maybe I will try to pick the book up and finish reading it when I can.
