Norah is a contemporary romance writer living deep in the woods on a lake in NW Jersey. She has been married for thirty years to the love of her life. She has two adult children, a Great Dane, a Maltipoo, and a Cockatoo. There is never any peace in her house and she likes it that way.

By day she is a serious professor and administrator at a university in the Northeast. By night she lets her imagination flow as a romance writer. Although it is incredibly hard to balance both worlds, it’s a hell of a lot of fun walking around having this delicious secret, this alternate life that few people know about. Reading some of my favorite authors, watching Game of Thrones or Outlander, or whatever my current obsession, is helps. But the thing that helps the most is walking away from the computer and denying myself the pleasure of writing for a few days. I miss it so much, all the juices start flowing soon and I come back strong.(less)

When my real world gets to be too much, I create another to live in for a while. The characters become my friends and I miss them terribly when I finish the book and have to create new ones immediately. (less)
