I'd like to apologize for my delayed response to your question. I'm in the middle of writing another book, and things tend to slip through my fingers like water when I've got a new project. My family's been surviving on take-out for months. Although they don't seem to miss my cooking much, so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the book. I don't think I have a future as a chef.

The Grave Tender was inspired by the question of whether or not we can ever really know another person and what lives in their heart. Even those closest to us. And when and if we stumble upon the darker side of a person's soul, does that negate the love we've always had for them. Does that mean it was an illusion? I don't know that I ever found a satisfying answer to that, and I'm not sure that Hadley did either.

As for a sequel, I've learned never to say never. But for the time being I believe I'll leave the Dixon family in peace. I think they've earned it. (less)

Sneak Peek — The Widow's Watcher

Hi again, lovely readers.

Y’all are gonna get tired of me popping up, waving this book at you. I apologize in advance. Writers are a funny breed. Most of the ones I’ve met are modest by nature, but due to the state of things (bills, yo) also need to be out hawking their wares. I can say with certainty however, there’s not a writer anywhere who isn’t forever grateful for every single reader who’s ta Read more of this blog post »
